Gabriele Salvatori shares an exclusive live-streamed preview of what we will be presenting during Milan Design Week 2021
Gabriele Salvatori presents our new collections in live streaming
“The Reunion and Reconnection Salone” is how Gabriele Salvatori describes Milan Design Week 2021 and, given that that more than two long years have passed since the previous edition, it is certainly apt.
There is certainly something particularly special in the air, as we all look forward to finally being able to catch up and share the passion for great design that unites us. However, we know that not everyone who would like to will be able to attend, and so we wanted to find a way to ensure they too, experienced the excitement of discovering what is new in the wonderful world of design.
As such, Gabriele will present a preview of all the Salvatori news in a live streaming event via YouTube and Instagram. The English language session will take place on Thursday 2 September at 3pm Italian time.
He will guide you through our showroom in Milan’s Brera district and explain all the new collections and displays we have been working on over the past eighteen months.
As for everyone, it was a difficult period, full of challenges, but creativity often flourishes in the midst of adversity and for us, it spurred us on and represented an opportunity to adapt the way we work.
A crucial element in the development process of any project we work on is the relationship with designers which often manifests itself in a kind of alchemy, something that is usually created in person. Obviously, things were different last year, but digital technology enabled us to create and develop fruitful and stimulating rapports with new collaborators Stephen Burks and Patricia Urquiola, while resuming dialogues with long-time friends and creative partners such as Piero Lissoni and Elisa Ossino.
Although nothing compares to meeting in person, the digital world creates extraordinary opportunities to connect, and after seeing how successful it was in working with designers, we wanted to tap into this with what we describe as FuoriSalone 2.0. Our live streaming event will make it possible to be part of the Salvatori world and receive insights into all our new collections from Gabriele who is not only our CEO, but also Creative Director.
You will not only get a sneak peek of the showroom before “real life” visitors, but will also be able to ask Gabriele questions via the YouTube comments function.
