Boffi | De Padova | MA/U apartment
The result is a room which conveys a touch of theatricality without losing the sense of liveability and functionality
As design lovers, we’re always happy to talk about great projects which catch our eye, and one such has recently been unveiled in the town of Monza, just a few minutes by train from the centre of Milan. Conceived as a prototype for the new concept which will guide the design and spirit of Boffi, De Padova and MA/U showrooms in which all three brands seamlessly share a single space, the apartment is a beautiful building where contemporary interior design fuses perfectly with distinctive architectural elements.
It just so happens that one of the details is a stunning kitchen feature wall in Salvatori Tratti, in which pared-back Bianco Carrara marble is artfully scuffed and accented with inserts in midnight black. The result is a room which conveys a touch of theatricality without losing the sense of liveability and functionality.
Situated right by the fourteenth-century San Pietro Martire, one of Italy’s oldest churches, the building is a perfect example of a home as a showroom and vice versa.
